
Italy introduces high-level blockchain experts to help with the technology implementation at the government level. The list of 30 blockchain specialists is a result of hiring and process which has lasted for four months.
The group of experts is going to work for free and become advisers of the authorities on creating blockchain technology national strategy.
The Italian Ministry of Economic Development considers blockchain along with Artificial Intelligence as the cutting-edge technology that has the potential to significantly influence the society and the economic and productive industries of the country.
All the experts are from Italy and are involved in mostly domestic sectors. The list includes trade association Assobit co-founder Gian Luca Comandini, Italtel head of marketing portfolio Angiolini Giorgio and Blockchain & Society Policy Research Lab board of directors member Marcella Atzori.
Such a serious approach demonstrates the growing demand of Blockchain Development and a good chance of its further implementation even at the state level. Yep, it’s true – in the early years of the blockchain, many governments were skeptical and ignored the facts of public acceptance of the technology. Nevertheless, we see more interest, as well as various blockchain initiatives being implemented by governments around the world.
